Identity Development

The visual identity for Americas Leadership Conference is an expression of Hilton’s “Our Purpose” internal subbrand. The conference graphics brings the Purpose elements to life—filling the event space with the bright representation of the values, foundation and commitment of Hilton. This identity was used for the rest of the year’s Leadership Conferences.

The system uses the established colors, gradients, layouts and imagery in designs while layering in a strategic approach known to work for events and live experiences. As the Leadership Conferences move regionally, the visual identity also incorporates flexibility to feature local photos and visuals meant to link the conference to the specific host location.

Branding the Space

Developing and executing the signage for Hilton Americas Leadership Conference was a multi-step process that took place over the course of four months prior to the event. Once the conference identity was solidified, I visited the Hilton Orlando in person to evaluate which areas of the hotel would be the most impactful and fit within client budget. Photos and measurements were taken, and a signage plan was developed. During the design process, I communicated with multiple vendors and producers to bring the variety of print and digital signage pieces to life. I arrived onsite prior to event day to ensure proper installation and placement of the print collateral.

Sponsor booths

The expo hall featured custom booths to accomodate each tier of event sponsor. In collaboration with the spacial designers, I created multi-panel graphics unique to each tier.

  • Silver-tier sponsor

  • Gold-tier sponsor

  • Diamond-tier sponsor

email & web communications

I worked with the Agency EA digital marketing team to create a series of email reminders as well as an attendee registration page.

The 2022 ALC marketing communications package consisted of:

  • (2) multi-piece email reminders

  • (1) attendee registration splash page

  • numerous “slices” such as sponsor logos and CTA buttons

I was responsible for creating a suite of full-takeover animations for the general session stage, as well as multi-screen holds for breakout sessions.

General session & breakout digital design package consisted of:

  • (15+) speaker walk-on animations, repeater & full stage background animation

  • (3) ambient presentation & seat-sitter backgrounds

  • animated looping LED venue signage

  • (2) multi-screen hold graphics for breakout sessions

General session & breakouts

Digital Signage

Content mapping

Extensive planning and meticulous file organization is required to ensure all of the pieces of the show work seamlessly together in a live setting. 2022 ALC general session utilized two 10,000+ px wide LED backdrops, as well as a repeater drum and 5 individual repeater screens. The use of content mapping allows all parties involved in the program to identify each asset.

Evening event logo

Drawing upon festival graphic inspiration, the logo is meant to connect music and Hilton’s Brighter Together theme, depicted through the record sunset

The logo was entirely hand drawn in Procreate, approved and delivered to the Hilton team for use on various applications including posters, tote bags, t-shirts, and environmental pieces.
